I live and work in the Prairie Pointe subdivision of Round Lake. We are actually part of the Valley Lakes area and this is by far the best kept secret in Lake County. Whe I tell people about the quality of live here they look at me and think...Round Lake. YES, this is the new Round Lake and our schools are in the Big Hollow district which is truly loved by the community. And we are done with building and funding the new schools. No new referendums needed. In the last 10 years I have helped more then 30 families with their real estate needs.
I have been working with clients for over 30 years. My strong commitment and dedication to client satisfaction along with her problem solving abilities, organizational and strong negotiating skills strengthen the process. |Wow. Marilyn has years of experience and it absolutely shows. She knows how to match homes to the client, negotiate for the buyer, negotiate for the seller, bring in a stager, market a home, and set up the needed personnel (lawyer, photographer, title co., inspector... you name it). We bought in 2006 as out-of-state clients & Marilyn matched our age/needs/personalities to the right kind of neighborhood & schools. We sold 6+ years later, after a housing crash. She was right on the money with her asking price recommendation, but still worked with us on the 'gut feel' that we could push the sale up a bit. Sold in 6 days, and appraised without issues (unlike neighbor at a very small amount higher). Now, that's knowledge of the market! In addition to her fabulous service at purchase and sale, she took the time in between at our request to give her advice on updates and renovations when a 2010 sale looked likely.|
