I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts but moved to Orlando at the tender age of three. The majority of my family still lives in Boston with the exception of my parents who live here in Orlando, and my sister whom lives in Tampa. I spent my formative years in Winter Springs attending Keeth Elementary, followed by Jackson Hieghts Middle, then a departure from public school and on to Bishop Moore High School. I knew exactly one person my first day of high school, but in the long run I truly feel my parents did what was best for me. After high school I attended The University of Florida (Lets Go Gators) where I studied art history and business.
After college I spent a good chunk of time surfing and traveling all over Europe and Central America, although my passport stamps pale in comparison to my sisters. After a few years of travel and working miscellaneous jobs I obtained my real estate license in 2002 and went to work for one of the big boys in the industry at that time. Probably one of the worst experiences of my life. Out dated training, cold calling, no support system all led to an unproductive initial foray in the field of real estate. Fortunately I ran into some start up investors and proceeded to work the investment side of things the last few years. Mostly flips, rehabs, wholesale assignments and the like. Great experience and I feel it gives me a unique perspective to share with my clients. I recently came back into the residential sector and couldn't have wished to be working in a better real estate company than I am now. Exit not only has the best training in the business, but both my brokers and fellow associates are genuinely nice people. For those of you not intimately familiar with the real estate industry, let me tell you it's a pleasant change. I truly believe that like attracts like and that is why I couldn't imagine not working for Stirling.
