20+ years in real estate in Wake County has allowed me to see extensive growth; (for example)in 1994 population in the town of Cary was approx. 40,000 people fast forward to 2014 to over 151,000 citizens.  Wake county is the preferred place for people to live that work in the RTP and surrounding areas.  With the large influx of new citizens to the county I have kept abreast of all that entails: new roads, schools, shopping complexes, fire stations, subdivisions, etc.

Being in real eatate doesn't involve just selling a house; it is listening carefully to the client to find the home that suits them.  Knowing the areas well enough to assist the client in all their needs, not just housing.  Any agent can sell a house and make a commission, it takes a thoughtful, good agent to find a home.  I have never sold a house, only a home to my clients.
