I firmly believe that the time has come to once again consider property in the Keys. The values are no longer over inflated, and the selection is plentiful. With a reasonable down payment (of at least 20%), most people find that once again a rent able Florida Keys home makes sense as a second home, with a historically predictable long term gain.
Many folks find the idea of living here full time appealing as well. This, I can certainly understand as a full time resident on Cudjoe Key. Now that the prices have come down to reasonable levels, the idea of living full time in Paradise is no longer a pipe dream.
