Hello, my name is Mike Hunnicutt. I have been a REALTOR for the past year and a half and I have always wanted be in Real Estate. I earned my license about 18 years ago and never did anything with it. The opportunity opened up again in 2006 and I took advantage of it this time. I feel like it is the best profession a person could be in for a person that likes people, and has a desire to fill somebodys wants and needs. I have been in sales and marketing for 42 years in the automobile business.
Searcy and White County to me is the best place in Arkansas to live, it has so much to offer. I love to duck hunt and crappie fish, and there are plenty of places around here to do that. Also the Little Red River is only 16 miles from Searcy, and has world class trout fishing that I also love. I might have to slow down a little as I have a new grandson, my first one, that I am going to spend a lot of time with.

As I said above, I have 42 years of sales and marketing experience in the automobile business. I was born into the automobile business and that was all I knew and did for a long time. I was very successful in the business, and was a top producer for many years. I was in management for the last 20 years managing new car dealerships in Arkansas.
I feel this experience was very instrumental in teaching me how to get along with people from all walks of life and backgrounds. It was a great avenue to meet new friends and to fulfill their wants and needs. I enjoyed making people happy by helping them to purchase a new or used vehicle. I was taught to take people for their word, and a handshake and your good word was all you needed. The last few years the automobile industry has gone from a very professional business to a dog and pony show. I didn't fit well in that environment, thus I made a career change.
I feel the Real Estate Business is still all about making new friends and treating them the way you want to be treated. I will continue to deal with my Real Estate clients in the professional way I was taught in the automobile business years ago. I will take people at their word and give them all the respect they deserve. After all it is about getting along with people, which I am good at!
