I've been involved in construction most of my adult working years. I was involved when women in construction were still a novelty and not taken very seriously. I earned credibility by learning hands on at the job site. I not only use the lingo but know what I'm talking about. I've always enjoyed what happens behind the walls and under the floors that makes a home a lifetime memory maker. Real estate affords me the ability to connect the two.
I also am able to relate to many types of people. Although people who are innovative, entrepreneurs or very driven are usually more attracted to me as I to them my various careers have exposed me to different types/personalities. I have worked in drug/alcohol prevention, sold electronic engineering services (pcb's & controllers), and started a Charter School. My husband and I have also owned a Geothermal company as well a Helical Pier/Foundation Repair/Demolition company. Each of these experiences have afforded me the ability to adapt to different personality types and traits in order to effectively communicate and understand the individuals involved.
I thrive on solving problems and finding/selling the right home at the right price is always unique to each client which is completely in my wheelhouse. I love learning and it is invigorating to share what I learn when it benefits others. I truly love working with my clients and most have become very dear friends. I love the bonds I have with my new "friends" that I intend to endure a lifetime.
I truly enjoy what I do. Most days it doesn't feel like a job but rather fulfilling my purpose.
My faith has shaped my ethical threads which are woven in every thing I do.
My family is my inspiration and motivation to be the best example. My husband and I are empty nesters with four children (adults) 3 sons and 1 daughter.
I enjoy using my skills to benefit non-profits, reading, going to the beach, spending time with family and getting together with friends.
