Over ten years ago, I came from Whistler, BC, Canada to Riviera Maya Mexico for six months to launch the first phase of the now well known Rosewood at Mayakoba condo hotel and residences. It was a great success.  The Rosewood is now a great place to stay, golf on the Greg Norman Championship golf course, and enjoy the beaches, the restaurants, the spas, the scenery, the wildlife, and climate.  I'm still here.

If you have been here to this part of the world, you will understand why when it was time to go "home", I was enchanted and didn't want to leave.  The area has the same effect on many visitors who decide to buy a vacation home here.

Who wouldn't be captivated? Originally, a stop on the way to catch the ferry to Cozumel where people went to scuba dive, Playa del Carmen was a small fishing village on the Yucatan Peninsula that developed a tourist following of its own. Averaging 75° year round, the area features white beaches and turquoise waters, plus cenotes ( or open pools connecting to subterranean water) that are inviting fresh water diving spots.

Playa del Carmen is  south of the Cancun Airport about 45 minutes and just north of Tulum.  The area is home to residential and tourist developments that include beach homes and condos, hotels, golf courses, and an aviaries, ancient Mayan Ruins.  Playa has the charm of a  Euro style pedestrian village, with a walkway full of shops and restaurants, cafes. Its home to many Europeans, Canadians, Americans, and Mexicans, making it a multicultural delight for food and clothing and activity. It's hip, its international it has flair and color.

Elsewhere in the Riviera Maya, there are secluded  enclaves of quite and hidden beach communities  offering luxury homes, condos and smaller boutique hotels.  The beautiful reefs of the area, Maya ruins, and white beaches draw in those who seek beauty and excitement.

For excitement, the ultimate experience is Kiteboarding on the beautiful azul Caribbean. Other than real estate, this is my passion.

The area is an ideal location of those who hope to invest in real estate that can serve as an exotic vacation spot for part of the year and as rental property for the rest.

After 17 years in Whistler BC for 17 years, and a top selling agent, who also loves the sun and the water, I immediately saw the potential in refocusing both my career and my life in this area.

Let me show you how to have a home and life here too.

Testimonials

"Dear Judy, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for your support and efforts this past month in my search for a property in the Mayan Riviera. As you well know trying to find a new property that fits your needs in another country can be difficult. Trusting an Agent you have never met before in another country also has its risks given the high degree of ethical and legal conditions one needs to fully understand in an unfamiliar market.

"My wife and I decided to purchase a condo on the beautiful Island of Cozumel. Buying a property can be stressful enough but when it comes to making an investment in another country, the stakes get much higher. Judi relieved much of this added stress by explaining the complete process in detail so we would not encounter anything we were not ready for. She was patient and took the time to suggest various condos that she felt would fulfill our needs. Fortunately we found the gem we were looking for. From there the process was taken care of and Judi made sure that we were protected and that nothing was omitted. If you are looking to purchase a property around Judi’s area, I would consider you call her. It will be the first best decision you will make."
