Melissa works at Kama'aina Mortgage Group Inc. (NMLS: 1276471) as Mortgage Loan Partner. Melissa strives to offer her clients the best-in-class service. She loves what she does and finds purpose in her work by helping home buyers and current home owners reach their homeownership dreams.

Melissa started her real estate career working as the Director of Internal Operations for a Real Estate Short Sale Education Provider in Austin, Texas. Her time spent helping Realtors market themselves during the 2008 housing crisis coupled with helping families who found themselves in an unfortunate mortgage situation has carried over in her mortgage career. She truly enjoys helping borrowers understand the home buying process.

Melissa and her husband moved to Hawaii in 2010. She worked as the Office Manager for a local Mortgage Brokerage Firm. She quickly found success working in the higher-end real estate market by focusing on consumer education and building relationships with top-producing Realtors.

Chris and Melissa temporarily moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, in 2012 to be closer to family. Melissa worked at InterTrust Mortgage as a Mortgage Broker. She enjoyed the culture, food, music and people of Lafayette.

After a couple years of living the Cajun lifestyle, Chris and Melissa were called back to Hawaii…a place they consider home. Melissa worked at Mortgage Associates of Hawaii as a Senior Licensed Loan Officer Assistant and Loan Officer. During that time, Melissa and her husband welcomed their daughter into their lives.

Melissa is proud to call Hawaii home. When she's not working you can find her, her husband and their daughter enjoying the Hawaii life with their many friends and Hawaii Ohana.
