Sensationally Staged was launched by Mave Hiegel, ASPTM (Accredited Staging Professional) in response to her personal real estate experiences. As a Realtor®, Mave is often amazed at the amount of money many sellers leave behind in their homes.  Attention to easy fixes such as dated wallpaper, chipped paint, and cluttered rooms can add thousands of additional dollars to an offer. Thus, Sensationally Staged was born. . .Mave now provides homeowners with staging services helping them to boost the sales price of their homes while minimizing the market time.   Mave is married to Dan, a Certified Relocation Professional with more than 15 years of Real Estate experience in the residential relocation industry. They relocated from Chicago to the Dallas area three years ago. She knows the ins and outs of moving, as she had to clear out her home and move in under four weeks! They left behind their beautiful 1929 Chicago bungalow that they had been remodeling since 1997. Mave became the General Contractor during the renovation, which she absolutely loved. She contracted with electricians, plumbers, stair contractors, roofers, etc. She and her husband completed all of the finishing work together: installing hardwood floors, tile, trimwork, painting, etc. True do-it-yourselfers! They have also enjoyed tackling their home in Flower Mound...their first adventure was installing new hardwood floors in their entry, dining room, living room and family room.   Mave's business experience includes more than 10 years of marketing and sales experience working in the real estate, consulting and retail industries. She also has over 12 years of experience working as a Paralegal in the pharmaceutical, lawfirm and publishing industries. She has most recently been able to enjoy the privilege of being a stay-at-home Mom to her three Children, Joshua (9), Elena (7) and Karissa (5). In her free time Mave enjoys adventures with her kids, cooking, and entertaining friends and family. Mave and Dan are also very active in their church, located in Coppell. They lead the college-age ministry during the Summer, Dan enjoys teaching a mens' Bible study and Mave is involved in a womens' Precepts Bible study. They also teach the 1st Graders.    Mave is a member of IAHSP (International Association of Home Staging Professionals), RESA (Real Estate Staging Association), GLAR (Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors), NAR (National Association of Realtors).

Mave also has a Blog, located at:http://yourremaven.wordpress.com/

Mary Robinson assists Mave with some of the Home Stagings and Redesigns. She brings to the table her design and decorating talents. Mary has been married to James for 23 years and has a beautiful teenage daughter, Sarah. Mary has worked for two major corporations and she has played an active role in her community with meals on wheels, habitat for humanity, school/teacher support, womens' ministry leader and leadership in Bible Study Fellowship. In addition to being an Accredited Staging Professional, she is a member of the IAHSP, International Association of Home Staging Professionals.   Staging is a perfect fit for Mary. She grew up in a Military home and traveled and lived in all kinds of places. Her parents enjoyed traveling and took she and her siblings everywhere. They were always in a museum, or at a historic site. Mary's love and interest in art and architecture came from this stimulation. In college, she incorporated art and architecture history and design into her electives.   After she married James, her moving about continued. Each new home became a playground for her passion and allowed her to experiment with design and décor. She learned something new in design with each home they owned. She also learned what it means to "move" with all the emotions and stress that go along with it. Staging a home is a combination of all of these things and more. Mary feels her experience with different cultures, places she's lived and people she's met, has given her the utmost ability to stage a person's home. She looks forward to making homes beautiful, and truly understands what her clients are going through and what buyers are looking for...she's been there herself.

VERBAL & WRITTEN CONSULTATIONS   Sensationally Staged will recommend upgrades, repairs, paint colors, décor, furniture arrangements, and more, and leave you with a detailed list of suggestions to prepare your property for sale. We will identify what to do to insure the best showing condition. This option is great for the "do-it-yourselfer". We are also happy to provide, or give referrals for services including: De-cluttering and Organizing, Window Coverings, Flooring/Carpeting, Cleaning Services, Painting, Electrical, Handyman, Moving and Storage. Our verbal consultations start at $125, depending on the size of the house. Our written consultations start at $225, based on the size of the house. (Please allow 2-3 hours of time for the consultation portion of this service.)

STAGING VACANT HOMES   First we will configure a design theme that best suits your home's overall style. Vacant homes can benefit from full or partial staging depending on budget allowance. The total cost depends on what is needed to "fill in" your home for maximum sales appeal. Often we focus on the main rooms of the house. For example: Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Baths and Master bedroom. Additional rooms may be suggested if we feel it will provide better market advantage and sales appeal. Our growing inventory offers a variety of home décor items including framed art work, silk plants, lamps, linens and decorative accessories. We also have special rates with local furniture rental companies for larger scale furniture such as sofa sets, dining room tables, patio sets and bedroom furniture. Rental rates vary depending on style and value. Partial Home Staging ranges from $150 to $500. This service includes accessories only for priority areas; such as entry way, living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Full Staging ranges from $500 to $5000, depending on the size of the house and number of rooms being staged. Here we would focus on the focal points, placing furniture and accessories in areas needed. Price does not include agreed upon furniture rental.

ROOM RE-DESIGNS     For people who are not able to vacate their home while on the market, or if you are desiring to have your house staged to live in it, then this service is a good solution. By repositioning your own furnishings and editing what needs to be taken out, we can create a refreshing living space within a shorter period of time and for a limited budget. Although we incorporate as much of your existing décor as possible in order to keep costs to a minimum, we may suggest adding new pieces. When necessary we will supplement your furnishings with rental accessories from our inventory or source out pieces for you to purchase directly. Pricing for this service is based on the size of the house.

Payment for consultations are due upon delivery. Payment for multi-day Staging work is 50% due upfront and the remainder is due upon completion. Payment for one-day Staging work is due upfront.
