Like a lot of people, I had no clue what I wanted to do when I graduated from college. In 1991 I answered a posting for an underwriting position at FHA and spent the next couple years learning how to analyze and grade credit for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is not the typical way to enter into the mortgage industry and there was a steep learning curve to work through while at FHA. By 1993 I decided that underwriting files was not my calling in life. I wanted to be more actively involved with helping consumers purchase homes and made the switch to being a Loan Officer.
I first became a Loan Officer in September of 1993. From 1993 to the present I have been working with consumers, Realtors and underwriters to help close residential mortgage transactions. I have had the honor and priviledge to help thousands of customers make informed and educated mortgage decisions over the years. I take my role and responsibility of being an advisor and advocate very seriously. Even after being in the business for so many years I am still excited and passionate about providing information to others that enable them to make positive financial decisions.
In my opinion service is the most important component I can provide during the mortgage experience. To this day I still remember getting my first home and how huge that step is in all of our lives. I treat my customers the same way I would wish to be treated if I were once again applying for my first mortgage. Not everyone's needs are the same - I try to be as flexible as possible to meet the actual needs of my customers.

As a Loan Officer, I specialize in truly listening to my customers and putting together a product for them that best meets their needs. Not everyone is the same - products should be catered to what works best for the customer. Customer service should cater to the actual needs of our customers and I work very hard to do that.
