In real estate, what you do for people is important, but how you do it is even more important.  Communicate well, pay attention to detail, ask and answer questions, use common sense, respect protocol but also be creative.  Be respectful, friendly, and firm.

I find that if I stick to these basic tenets, doing a good job is a natural result.

I have been a licensed agent since 1984, beginning in San Francisco and now in Marin County.  I have been through the cycles that characterize real estate and know the strategies necessary for navigating them.  The profession continues to evolve and I enjoy the personal and professional growth that comes with this.

I have sold residential, income, and agricultural property in a variety of locations throughout Northern California.  I specialize in residential property in Marin County.  Currently, amongst other business I have,  I am representing a Marin seller of a residential income property in a reverse exchange into an Oregon agricultural ranch property.

This business is fun and interesting because of the people I meet and the diversity of challenges it presents!

Certifications

My area of expertise is actually whatever I am currently working on.  I use the skills and experience I have to become an expert fast on whatever kind of property or location I have been hired to work on.  I tour property regularly throughout Marin in order to know pricing and prices, either for buyers or sellers.  I take continuing education classes, talk to agents and other professionals, read, and listen to what people have to say. 

Of course, I pay very close attention to what is going on in my own neighborhood and my own town of Tiburon.  It is a microcosm of the larger Southern Marin market.  I have also concentrated in other parts of Marin, including Novato, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Mill Valley, all up and down the I-101 corridor.  I do not specialize in one area of the market, such as high end.  I am flexible in that regard.  I enjoy working with different types of buyers and sellers.  I have sold fixers as well as very high end properties!    Use this section to write about your specific areas of expertise.
