Growing up in Western Washington, I was naïve to the wonders "over the hill". It took my family and me a single weekend of camping in Moses Lake to realize that we had come home. Within a month we had purchased a "fixer-upper" and began the weekend warrior road trips back and forth to Moses Lake. It took only a couple seasons to realize that this was the quality of life we wanted. Moses Lake offers such a bounty of options for outdoor and recreation activities! Our family enjoys jet skiing, swimming, hiking, and the newly discovered joy of bird watching. Less than a year after our first camping trip, we purchased a home and have happily called Moses Lake home ever since.
Although I have been a teacher of children with special needs, hearing impairments, and eventually, 5th grade for 13+ years, I have always had a hidden passion for real estate and interior design. Additionally, I was a lead member of our contract bargaining group for years...gleaning tools necessary for effective negotiation. Personally, I have bought and sold 6 homes (including condo, residential single family, vacation, rental and more). With each transaction my interest and enthusiasm for the industry only grew. I have learned a lot of lessons while buying and selling real estate...lessons that I look forward to passing on to clients. I have an arsenal of talents, and I will negotiate effectively on client's behalf.
