Linda Hickey grew up in Kentucky before moving with her family to Florida in 1994. Linda began her career in banking in 1999 and quickly moved up the ranks by learning various job duties. Linda started out as a part time teller and moved up to being a branch operations manager. While spending many years in banking has helped Linda to learn and understand how to really listen to what her clients want, as well as need, it has also helped her learn the many different aspects of lending. 

After spending 15+ years in banking, Linda spent some time as a legal assistant/paralegal for a small law firm while she was earning her BA in Paralegal Studies and Business Administration. The time spent in the legal field has helped Linda understand the legal side of contracts as well as the importance of being sure all concerns are addressed. 

Linda relocated with her husband Ted of 15+ years to Canton, GA in April of 2014. Linda has quickly fallen in love with the beauty of Cherokee County and the warmth of the communities. Linda wants to share the warm reception she experienced with her fellow Cherokee residents and those who are moving to the area for the first time. 

Linda and Ted have a love of animals. They have rescued five dogs that they share their home with. Linda and Ted strive to help bring awareness to the treatment of animals. They also try to bring awareness of the amount of adoptable pets that are in our shelters.

Linda also has a passion for photography and nutrition. Linda spends her free time with Ted at our local lakes jet skiing and taking photographs of him, as well as the beautiful countryside.
