Sandpiper Realty, Inc. has a 35 year history of service within the industry and the community. All agents of Sandpiper Realty are REALTORS and are committed to strict adherence to the REALTOR Code of Ethics, which dictates fair and ethical practices by its members. A REALTOR is a person engaged in the real estate business who is a member of the local real estate board and the State and National Associations of REALTORS.
We believe that working cooperatively within our profession, with other REALTORS and non-REALTORS, leads to better service for our clients. To this end, we are subscribers to LINK, the Vineyard multiple listing system. LINK (Listing Information Network) facilitates ready access to all Island properties being offered for sale this access offers the widest possible coverage to all property listings.
We are strong advocates of mandatory continuing education requirements for all real estate agents. Our agents consistently attend seminars and graduate REALTOR courses to stay informed on current legislation and trends and how they impact our clients. All of our agents hold some type of professional designation. In the current market, it is imperative that real estate professionals stay informed in order to provide the appropriate services.

Lesley began her career in real estate at Sandpiper Realty, Inc. in 1998 and in 2011 took ownership of the agency along with her business partner Courtney Marek.
Lesley spent a decade under the mentorship of Sharon Smith Purdy and during that time honed her skills and knowledge from one of the most successful and prominent Vineyard Brokers.
In addition to real estate experience, Lesley also has a building background and holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License.
Her diverse professional experience has provided Lesley with extensive insight and considerable expertise in all aspects of real estate. As a summer resident of the Vineyard since birth and a year round resident following her graduation from the University of Connecticut, Lesley is also familiar with all corners of the island.
Over the years, Lesley has volunteered her time with many island organizations. More recently she participated on the Parents Advisory Committee of the Martha’s Vineyard Community Service Center’s Family Network, which provides education and support to parents of children ages 0-5.
She resides in Oak Bluffs with her husband and their two children.
