I have worked in Interior Design for 6 years, that is, after leaving the crazy world of Advertising behind after 8 fun years! I have a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Communications. Later, I studied at UC Berkeley at their Interior Design and Interior Architecture School. I continue to take classes at UC Berkeley.
I have a wide range of tastes in interiors. Just take a look at my website, you'll see a yacht, a French colonial mansion, and a zen home built by a Japanese Architect. And, there are lots of "befores" and "afters" for you to see as well. It's www.leezadesigns.com
You'll see from the numerous testimonials on my website that I am easy to work with, aim to please and get the job done.
I really enjoy working with colors and bring an entire home together. I've had many compliments from clients on my ability to select colors that work together. Making homes have a consistent feel is just as important as removing the clutter.
I've also had quite alot of experience creating Zen type environments; such as using a round rug at the entry which suggests a full stop or a place to slow down. And, I often suggest, using objects in each room that represent earth, water, fire and forest. And if need be, finding creative ways to accomplish this - if for example, water isn't possible in a particular room - using a blue throw pillow instead - or representing earth with grains of sand in a shallow dish. In the world of Zen - balance is vital. And, if a potential buyer feels tranquil while walking through a particular home - you are all the more closer to a sale.
