We dislike “About Us” pages on real estate sites because it’s NOT about US - it is about what the client is trying to accomplish. The client should have complete confidence that they are working with a qualified professional, so here is our background.  We have combined almost forty years (whew) of real estate experience.  We were initially licensed in the late 1980s and went on to become brokers in the 1990s as well as earning the CRB (Certified Residential Broker) and e-PRO (Certified Internet Professional) designations in the 1990s.  We were “just agents”, then moved up to management (managing real estate agents is like herding cats!), then started, grew and sold our own brokerage in Northern Virginia, and have taught basic and advanced real estate.  Although we have been coming to Smith Mountain Lake for years, we made it our permanent home in 2000 and have loved living and working here ever since!What we really like to do is help people buy and sell real estate and that is what we do now on a full time basis.  We’ve come full circle and we’re “just agents” again…just this time with a LOT more experience!
