Real estate investing for the informed LONG TERM investor is a reliable path to wealth creation. It is not a get rich quick scheme. According to Forbes, real estate has created the largest number of self-made multi-millionaires (and billionaires). In addition to producing income and price appreciation (over the long term) it also provides substantial tax advantages further contributing to wealth building.
Effective landlording is a learned skill. I follow and work with investors who share the buy and hold philosophy. There are many wonderful deals in the current market for an investor with a long term outlook.
