Karol Romero, Loan Officer based in Miami-Fort Lauderdale in sunny South Florida is a 23-year seasoned industry veteran and has represented large numbers of buyers in wide arrays of real estate financial transactions ranging from residential, commercial, government loans, foreign national loans, jumbo loans, as well as new construction and condo conversion specialist.

Prior to joining Freedom Mortgage, Karol has worked for National Title and Abstract Company, BankUnited, the Joint Venture between Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and the Builder/Developer/Seller of luxury condos: The Related Group of Florida. She has also worked with Countrywide Home Loans, Global International Lending Group, and Paramount Residential Lending Group.

Karol has built a solid foundation rooted on transparency in all communications and building relationships with mutual referral partners such as real estate professionals, builders/developers, financial planners, current and past customers, community relationships, and educational institutions.

In her role as a Loan Officer, one of Karol’s goal is to help as many minorities within her neighboring communities to go from tenants to homeowners thereby reaching a very important milestone in their lives. She believes that however small, her efforts can be woven into this brilliant tapestry enriched by the multi-cultural beautiful people that live in one of the most amazing cities in the world!

Ms. Romero also gives back to her community by teaching, mentoring, and tutoring students with disabilities in disciplines such as Algebra, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and other academically demanding subjects at Miami Dade College, Florida International University, and the Universisty of Miami.

Karol is also an active member of the Florida Division of Blind Services and participates in annual events with non-profit organizations such as Amigos for Kids. Karol and her entire family participate in the annual 5K-Run/Walk Race for the Cure with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, as well as contributing her time and baked goods to help with the fund-raising efforts of the Diversity Student Organization created by students with disabilities to help others in need. She is also an Editor and contributor to the award-winning publication Miambiance, the Kendall College Magazine.
