"A native Washingtonian, Karen has seen first hand the growth and expansion throughout the area. She, along with her family, have called Northern Virginia their home for 40+ years.
In the early 80's, Karen discovered her affinity for real estate, which led to her working for real estate management companies. During this period, she developed and cemented her skills of evaluating, investing, and managing real properties, successfully handling both residential and commercial.
Karen also co-founded Design Business Furniture, Inc. in 1992 adding a home staging division in 2008. Design Business Furniture is listed as "one of the top office furniture companies" by The Washington Business Journal. Her extensive real estate and related business experience has enhanced her ability to find homes for buyers, individuals, families and businesses, small and large, with personal attention to detail and with professionalism. Understanding the importance of maximizing equity, not over-improving and staging the property, she also provides her listing clients with a keen insight into the essentials of selling their home. | Karen became very involved in helping me at every step in the process of selling my home. She was patient but persistent when dealing with lenders, HOAs, and other roadblocks. She was completely dedicated to providing me the best service possible, up to and including shoveling 40 inches of snow off of my sidewalk and out of my egress well! I cannot stress enough her dedication to her clients, her high level of expertise and the integrity and care with which she performs her job. | I am 66, and this is my 5th home. In my past experience realtors don't really listen to you. They show houses that don't meet your needs, or are outside your budget. She actually listened, previewed all homes first, so as not to waste my time, and the third one she showed me was the charm! I am totally delighted with my experience. At closing she presented me with a binder, which had all the info. On the property, what the previous owners had done, home Warranty info., everything I could possibly need. She went well beyond the necessary! She was so professional and organized, I could barley belief it. This is probably my last home, but if I needed to do it again, I would want her! I HIGHLY recommend Her. The best, and easiest buying experience I've ever had! It just doesn't get any better! |
