Get to Know Kori Fonseca
Kori was born in North Vancouver, and raised on Port Moody's north shore in a residential contracting family. Since then she's lived on the East Coast refining her interior design skills, working in major lighting and furniture stores. In 1992 the lure of the West coast and the Tri-Cities brought Kori back to Coquitlam where she ran her own wholesale lighting business, and started a family with her husband. This background has instilled in Kori a love of homes, design and real estate that has taken her to this exciting career as a licensed real estate agent. | We purchased our first new home with Kori's help 5 years ago. The experience was great and last year when we decided to move into a new home there was no question on who would represent our interests. The market in December is usually quiet and we didn't expect many visitors. Guess what...the first weekend after we listed we had a mutiple offer and sold. It was Kori's professionalism and presentation that made this possible. She helped us stage our home and took professional photographs. This all happened so quickly that found ourselves a little worried. We still needed to find a new home for ourselves and et we didn't have a clear idea what we wanted. Kori took the time to show us a range of different places and areas to help us decided on where we wanted to settle. | We saw Kori at an open house in our area and we were impressed by the speed with which their listing sold and the "show home" condition of the home during our viewing. When I had to sell our home so that I could start a new career in another province, we enlisted Kori's services and in less than a week after listing, our property was sold at 100% of asking. Kori's talents as a professional home stager proved invaluable during the week prior to listing, as my wife and I worked hard at reducing clutter and giving the home a quick makeover under Kori's tutelage. | When my husband and I decided to purchase our first home Kori made the process enjoyable. With her background in so many other related areas she was able to provide us with a complete overview of what we were looking at and she is not afraid to tell you what she really thinks- even if it means you don't buy today! She was fast and efficient and provided us with properties to view that she knew would be to our liking. We actually purchased the first home she showed us and we couldn't be happier! Working with a realtor who is looking out for your best interest and not pressuring you just to increase their bottom line really restores your faith in salespeople. | We began looking at condos in April of this year. Our situation was a bit unique in that we wanted a condo for an investment although it was my sister, Karen and nephew Cameron that would reside in the suite. Kori was very understanding and pleasant from our first meeting. She understood the situation and took into consideration the fact that two pet dogs were also coming along with the package. Naturally, this narrowed down the scope of perspective buildings that would be suitable. Keeping all this in mind, and taking time to communicate with two clients or at least two different households kept Kori on the phone more than usual. None of this seemed to be too much or put her out in any way. She remained calm and enthusiastic and I must say also kept us anticipating her next call to let us know if she had found something suitable. What really impressed us about Kori is that she seemed to be as concerned as us about making sure our final investment would be a sound one. Of course this was a huge concern to us, taking into consideration that we are hoping to retire in the next couple of years. Everyone has heard the horror stories about leaky condos and huge assessments. This, of course, was foremost in our minds. We feel our final investment is a good one even though it is a "leaky condo with an assessment". We managed to get in at a good price and we anticipate that when the project has been completed my sister will be living in a lovely building. Once again, I would like to state that Kori was very helpful and patient, open to all our questions, and kept in mind while working for us all our restrictions. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kori to any of our friends or family. |

| Thank-you Rich, Kori, Brandi and the great team you have! I really appreciate all your efforts in the sale of my condo. Cayman is great. We are settled into our new jobs and found a great place 100 yards away from the beach to live - renting of course... no responsibilty! Thanks again and we'll look for you when we return to Canada. |
