Kim's Resort Community Expert Philosophy
"When Life Gives You Lemons, Make some Lemonade..." I grew up in both the Bay Area and Central Oregon. I put myself through Willamette University graduating with a BS in Psychology while fighting fires on a Helitack Initial Attack Team during the summers. My Motto I live by, "No was not in my vocabulary". Needless to say, I was the first female in Oregon to fight fire on the team. This same belief system has helped me become the Best Agent I can. The goals and ambitions of my buyers and sellers becomes very personal. As a professional in the business, I bring my education, ability to persevere through all the issues that arise when working with clients. I have a love for life, and feel it is my goal to help families in the real estate world. Sharing the hiking, biking, boating escurisons of the area with our newcomers to the area makes our area one of a kind. The Tahoe Basin has such a wide variety of activities for everyone. Altough South Lake Tahoe has a small airport, we have easy access to two larger airports, SAC and Reno. Commuter buses are a swift way to help you meet your time lines for air travel.
South Lake Tahoe being three hours from the bay area, and 90 minutes from the Central Valley proves to be a destination location for many families thriving in Silicon Valley. They say, people that visit often tend to make this their retirement home or location to get our of the hustle and bustle.
My area of expertise takes me to many locations in the area. Since I have had the pleasure of living on the Coast, on the pennisula, Central Oregon, Willamette Valley, the East Bay, amd now South Lake Tahoe. It has been a childhood and family vacation stop for many years. My expertise is working with any and all clients to accomplish their goals and meet their expectations. My Network of clients always seem to turn into friends.
Education and Background
Following up on education is vital in this business. Rules and regulations regarding real estate is forever changing and it is vital to stay abreast of the new legislation in our areas. I have completed my SRES, am a Certified Relocation Specialist, and South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Area Specialist. I have a degree in Psycholocy, Willamette University, OR 84'.
I have worked in many careers prior to my real estate career. I started my own business, raised three wonderful children, was a book-keeper and worked for a high tech company during the early 2000 when dot coms were big. All these careers lead me into my prefered career of real estate.
Fun Things To Know About Kimberly
Running, walking, hiking with my dog Koda, my white shepherd is my stress relief. We talk and enjoy each other's company with no quarrels! Koda is a loved family member and important part of our families life. Moving into new areas with your pet can be stressful, but with the right agent to assist, this can be fun. I love to explore the mountain trails and hiking areas of Tahoe. Enjoying the local beaches and checking out local towns is also a favored past-time.
