How It All Started: 

   Real Estate is in my blood.  I grew up the only child of a very successful and respected Realtor, Sandy Darling.  As a child, I was always helping my mother, making copies, organizing her MLS binder, filing papers, and going to walk thrus.  I actually used to memorize the streets and quiz myself as we were driving all over town everyday.  I never knew that someday I would actually be a Realtor myself.  After a 5 year teaching career, I decided to dabble in Real Estate as a part time hobby.  I knew the business and it seemed like a perfect extra job to take on during the weekends and summers off.  Well, the part time idea only lasted 8 weeks, I immediately fell in love with Real Estate.  I loved working with people and helping them find their perfect home.  I also enjoyed listing my clients homes and helping them find a buyer who would appreciate their home as they had.  I enjoy the marketing aspect of it, as I have an undergraduate degree in Advertising.  Real Estate was just a perfect fit for me. 

   Since beginning as a licensed Realtor in 2001, I have made many friends and enjoyed the relationships I have built with my clients.  It warms my heart that I have helped someone find a home where they will live their life and have many wonderful memories in the years to come.  I realize that your home is more than just a financial investment, but a home is truly where the heart is.   When working with clients, I understand this on both the sellers and buyers side.  Real Esate as much as we want it to be a sound financial decision,can be a very emotional and sometimes stressful event.  I realize change is hard for many people, and changing where you live is a very big deal and I work with my clients knowing this.
