One of my favorite things about this industry is that every transaction I do is just a little bit different that the last one. I really look at every client and make sure that I'm understanding everything I need to know before I proceed. There is nothing worse than getting halfway through a transaction and realizing that you've missed something that impacts the ability to get the loan closed.
What makes me unique? I tell everyone this simple truth: I work very hard in the first 15 minutes of a pre-qual conversation to determine if the loan is 'viable' by asking lots and lots of very hard questions. If I do my work properly UP FRONT, the loan is going to close, and close ON TIME. It's as simple as that... These days, there is no sense at all in getting everyone's hopes up and spending lots of other people's money to ultimately deny the loan.
I also work very hard to keep everyone informed throughout the entire transaction with weekly emails or personal phone calls. Everyone, including the listing agent, is kept fully informed of the status through the loan process. My motto: No surprises!
I have an MBA from the University of Dallas which gives me a unique perspective in this line of work. I'm methodical in my work and always try to keep up to date on the latest products. My company offers most every product that a client would need including: Conventional, VA, FHA, USDA, New Mexico MFA. If we don't offer it directly, we can many times 'broker' the loan so it's a seamless process.
