Founder and CEO of TheLawsonGroup Mediation Services. Based in Idaho and Indiana, we provide services nationwide to real estate agents and investors, in addition to providing mediation for federal court cases involving real estate where the parties are geographically diverse.
Our firm is a mediation firm. We help Realtors & investors with short sale cases by publishing 2 step by step guides for managing a short sale from marketing to listing to preparing a professional proposal to negotiating with the lenders. If the agent or investor wishes to just manage the listing and document collection side, they may then submit the documents to us and we will complete a legal and marketing analysis of the short sale, prepare a professionally drafted proposal, submit it to the lender and handle the mediation until approval is received.
I started this firm after having practiced law for many years. I sold my law firm and continued my professional life providing mediation training, selling real estate, and managing short sales. I also have 13 years of law enforcement experience having been a state trooper in Wisconsin and a narcotics agent in Maine.

We provide Three primary services to real estate agents.
Training: Two books/manuals are available to provide you with a correct understanding of the short sale process and how to get your short sales or loan modifications approved. Also included is instruction in running a short sale/loan modification business, especially for new agents. We even teach you the skills you need for negotiating and how to develop them. Finally, we have a strong emphasis on preventing liability to help keep you safe in this huge liability minefield.
Coaching: We can tailormake a coaching system based upon your needs and budget. Coaching is a great way to have experienced coaches help you run your business and achieve success.
Mediation of short sales and loan modifications: Many agents prefer to handle everything themselves. That's great. However, many other agents understand the benefit of their focusing specifically on gathering listings, turning them then over to us to deal with the banks, freeing them up to focus all of their resources on building listings. We serve as neutrals, not representing any of the parties, but protecting the interests of each of the parties, including your broker commissions. We complete a legal and marketing analysis, draft a professional proposal, and mediate with the lenders.
