Kathleen Walmsley was raised on a 300 acre farm and was raised with small town, good old fashioned values. It was a very big surprise to her family when Kathleen decided to become a realtor and go to work for a real estate firm in 1990. It was an even bigger surprise when, in 1994 after the owner had some health problems, she decided to purchase the company and run it herself. Kathleen would not abandon her commitment to Wilsonville and allow the owners to close up shop. Kathleen had made the decision to support her local community and focus on the people of Wilsonville for her real estate business. She wanted the people of Wilsonville to have a real estate advocate who would always be there for them. Several larger franchised real estate companies were her competition but their focus was Lake Oswego and other areas. Kathleen always catered to the people in Wilsonville, and her value system of " No home or property is too small or too large" prevailed. She handled all of her clients with "million dollar service," and those competing companies eventually moved out of Wilsonville.
"I love Wilsonville so I live and work here. My goal has always been to help people sell and buy property for the best price, but now our real estate market has been hit hard for the first time. Getting experienced advice and working with someone who has your best intentions at heart is very important, especially in this market. When times are slow supporting local business owners and the people in your community is the right thing to do. I support our schools, local businesses and put tax dollars into our local economy."
