My name is Karen Hooper and I am a realtor with Royal LePage Performance Realty in Orleans, Ontario (a community east of Ottawa). It has been my pleasure to assist families with the purchase or sale of their homes in Ottawa's east end communities since 1989. I love what I do! A consistent award winning agent, I have achieved Royal LePage's prestigious President's Gold Award as well as the Lifetime Award of Excellence. In 2006, I was the proud recipient of the Orleans Chamber of Commerce People's Choice Business Award for Real Estate Agent of the Year. I use technology to help my buyers and sellers, however it will never replace the personal time I spend with my clients. My tagline is 'Real Estate Service with a personal touch.'

One of the founding members of the Northern Magic Fund for International Development, I sit on the Board of Directors of this non-profit organization, which is dedicated to raising funds for the education of impoverished youth in Kenya. I was privileged to have had an opportunity to travel to Kilifi, Kenya in 2003 to visit many of the local schools and to witness first-hand the difference the fund is making in this little part of our world.
