Houston Texas Real Estate – Cypress Texas Real Estate – Kingwood Texas Real Estate – Magnolia Texas Real Estate – Spring Texas Real Estate – Tomball Texas Real Estate – The Woodlands Texas Real Estate

If this sounds like a lot of area to cover, it's not as large of an area as it sounds like.  Actually the areas all blend together and you don't really know when you are leaving one area and entering another. It's not like there are several miles between each of them.

Houston Area RE/MAX agent - Houston Texas

RE/MAX Elite Properties, Tomball, TX

I moved to Houston with my parents when I was about 3 years old and went to school Inside the Loop (the Houston Heights).  After I got married, we both wanted to stay in the Houston area.  We lived in Oak Forest, then Cypress and now Tomball.  Both of our daughters graduated from Tomball High School.  Then one of them went to college and graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and luckily for us, moved back to Houston.  Our other daughter graduated from Texas A & M in College Station and again, luckily for us, moved back to Houston. I miss living Inside the Loop, but also love the suburbs!

Feel free to search here for the most up-to-date, up-to-the-minute, Current MLS Information for Real Estate in Houston and Surrounding Areas - it is the most current information available.

Cypress, Kingwood, Magnolia, Spring, Tomball and The Woodlands are on the north, west and northwest side of Houston, TX.  Each is within easy driving distance of downtown Houston.  Many people choose to live in the suburbs and drive to Houston to work.  The Houston freeway system makes Houston and all of the other areas easily accessible to each other.  Many choose to utilize the Park & Ride transit system and leave the driving to someone else.

We have two major airports:  George Bush Intercontinental Airport on the North side of Houston and Willaim P. Hobby Airport on the South side of Houston.   There are private airports as well.

As you can imagine, there are plenty of things to do in Houston and the surrounding areas!   There are literally thousands of activities available for kids, teens and adults alike.  Some of our main attractions are, of course, Space Center Houston; the Houston Zoo; and Children's Museum of Houston.   Between mid-February and mid-March is the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo  -- if you are in town, don't miss the world's largest rodeo!  Forgot your boots and your cowboy hat?  Not to worry . . . you will see plenty of people in cowboy boots and cowboy hats but you will also see people in tennis shoes and t-shirts.  It's fun to dress the part, but certainly not necessary for having a good time!   On July 4, the City of Houston puts on one of the most spectacular fireworks displays you'll ever see!  It's called Freedom Over Texas and is centrally located near Downtown Houston.  I'm proud to say that Houston makes a big deal of honoring our military men and women who have fought for our freedom!

If you want to save on admissionto some of the Houston area's favorite attractions and avoid lines, you may want to purchase a Houston CityPass.

If golf is your passion, Houston may well be the place for you!  There are well over 100 golf courses in the Houston area -- including at least 51 Golf Courses in Houston, 6 Golf Courses in Cypress, 14 Golf Courses in Spring, 9 Golf Courses in The Woodlands and many more in Kingwood, Magnolia, Conroe and Montgomery County!  If you would like a list of homes on golf courses or in golf course communities, let me know.  Or maybe you would like to move to an over 55 community or a gated community or a master planned community . . . the Houston area has plenty of all of those to choose from.

We also have many gated communities including some homes on golf courses in gated communities.

Homes available in some of the gated communities include:

Homes in the Cyfair Independent School District (Cypress Fairbanks ISD), Homes in the Klein Independent School District, Homes in the Tomball Independent School District.

Many Opportunities for Higher Education without Leaving Home:

Colleges and Universities located within the Houston area include University of Houston (with several locations in the Houston area), Rice University, Houston Baptist University, Texas Southern University, Texas Woman's University, The Art Institute of Houston, The University of St. Thomas, Phoenix University, Belhaven College; Sam Houston State University is apprx. 65 miles to the north in Huntsville; Texas A & M is approx. 85 miles to the northwest in College Station; The University Center in The Woodlands and University Park on St. Hwy. 249 @ Louetta Rd.

Some of the medical and nursing schools in the Houston area include:  Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Baptist University School of Nursing, Texas Woman’s University School of Nursing, University of Texas – Houston Health Science Center, Texas A & M University College of Nursing and the University of St. Thomas School of Nursing and American Medical Institute.

Community Colleges include the Houston Community College System with locations throughout Houston, Lone Star College System with multiple locations and the San Jacinto College District.

Hospitals:Houston is home to hundreds of wonderful hospitals and medical facilities!  To mention a few:  Texas Children's Hospital, world-renowned M.D.Anderson Cancer Center, Methodist Hospital System, Memorial Hermann Healthcare, St. Luke's Episcopal Health System, Triumph Healthcare and Hospitals, Houston Northwest Medical Center, Cypress-Fairbanks Hospital, Kingwood Medical Center, Tomball Regional Hospital.  Many of them have multiple locations so it makes it more convenient for patients.

Many areas of Houston kind of intermingle with one another.  For example, you can have a Houston address, but be in Cyfair ISD, Kingwood ISD, Klein ISD, Spring ISD or Tomball ISD.  Or you may have a Tomball mailing address and be in Klein ISD rather than Tomball ISD.  Or you may have a Spring mailing address and be in Klein ISD rather than Spring ISD.  Or you may live in The Woodlands (Spring) and be in Conroe ISD.  Sound confusing?  It is.  Feel free to call me if you have questions or if you would like further information.

Houston, Cypress, Kingwood, Magnolia, Spring, Tomball and The Woodlands are located in Harris County or Montgomery County. However, part of Southwest Houston is located in Ft. Bend County.

Relocating to the Houston area, from the Houston area or just relocating within the Houston area?

The Houston area has many, many lifestyles to choose from!  We have homes located "inside the loop" that are closer to downtown Houston.  We have homes in the suburbs on small lots to acreage and every size inbetween!  We have patio and garden homes to horse properties.  We have master planned communities, gated communities, golf course communities, communities for those over 55, small communities, huge communities -- you name it, we probably have it!

I love to work with relocation buyers . . . people relocating to Houston as well as surrounding areas such as Cypress, Spring, Tomball, Magnolia, Blackhorse Ranch, Canyon Gate, Champions, Copperfield, Cole's Crossing, Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Fairfield, Gleannloch Farms, Kingwood, Lakewood, Longwood, Northpointe, Riata Ranch, Stable Gate, Stablewood, Stone Gate, The Woodlands and literally hundreds of other northwest neighborhoods.  Our area has so much to offer and I am excited to have the opportunity to share area info with others.

I find it refreshing to work with Seniors (whether buying or selling), as well as first-time homebuyers.  Actually, I enjoy people in general.

Many RE/MAX agents, including myself, contribute part of each commission to Children's Miracle Network.  Since 1994, RE/MAX has contributed over $100 million toward the medical care of seriously ill and/or injured children.

People have said I am very patient, which I consider a huge compliment.  I want each person I work with to understand all details fully -- even if it means going over the same things several times.  There is so much to take in . . . and if I didn't do it everyday, I'm pretty sure I would have to hear it more than once, too.

I have been with RE/MAX for over 20 years.  I strive to be easy to talk to, approachable . . . not pushy . . . and no canned scripts!  I want to hear what YOU have to say.  I want to hear what YOUR thoughts are throughout the home buying and/or home selling process.  I would love to be your Realtor for life . . . but I also want to know you as a person . . . and would like for you to know me as a person aside from being your Realtor.  I have lived in the Houston area since I was about three years old.

If we decide to work together, you will always be treated like CLIENT NO. 1 -- never Transaction No. 355 for the year!  I work one-on-one with the Buyers and Sellers I work with -- from contract signing to closing and thereafter -- you will never be passed on to someone else to finish up the transaction.  You are always welcome to call me after we close for anything real estate related and, of course, on a personal level as well!  As a matter of fact, I encourage it . . . or I would love it if you stop by my office for a visit.
