I entered the real estate field in 1990 and have had experience as a company owner, a designated broker, a manager, a commercial leasing agent, a residential salesperson, a loan officer, a loan processor, and an assistant. This path has given me significant experience in my profession, and has allowed me to choose a specialty without reservation. I now work in the high-end residential market, specifically focusing on buyers who are qualified to purchase homes priced $2M and above. Since I rarely list properties for sale, and when I do I always engage a co-listing agent, I am continually able to refine what I do best: Listening to buyers needs, uncovering appropriate off-market opportunities, establishing relationships, analyzing market conditions, and using long-term knowledge and a great memory of Santa Barbara and Montecito homes to match those buyers with the right properties. I occasionally assist a seller directly when I'm asked about a property I've sold previously or am able to match a buyer directly with a willing seller, but the vast majority of my business is on the buyer's side of the transaction.  I am proud that the majority of my sales volume is derived from properties that are NOT listed in the Multiple Listing Service at the time I present the property to my clients. This means I'm excelling at the job I was hired to do...finding each and every client a property that truly meets their needs.
