I was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and moved to Gulf Shores in 2001.  I spent over 20 years in the hardware and building material business before deciding to move to the place I had wanted to live since a child.  My parents spent their honeymoon here so I have been coming here all of my life. 

I began investing in real estate in the mid-1970's buying my first house while in college.  My dad helped me remodel it at night and on weekends to get it ready to rent.  I bought my first Orange Beach condo at a complex called Harbour Place in 1998.  My wife and I furnished and decorated it and we were hooked on Lower Alabama Real Estate.
