My mission is to help agents reduce the amount of taxes they pay with proven, legal tax strategies.  This simply means taking all your available deductions, but does not mean taking deductions that don't exist or are entirely personal. 

For most real estate agents, the key is to know what expenses are deductible and to record them accurately and timely.  No matter how good your tax preparer is, they can only deduct the expenses that you actually tell them about.

I have spent the last few years writing The Real Estate Agent's Complete Tax Guide:  Proven Strategies to Legally Reduce Your Taxes and developing software for real estate agents to organize their income and expenses.  The goal is to provide an entire system for helping agents, rather than just providing suggestions or preparing tax returns.  The fact is that reducing your taxes requires planning.  

I have a special interest in real estate because I have several family members who are agents.  My father, brothers, and sister own an ERA franchise in Austin, Texas.  I also have a sister who is an agent with RE/MAX in Dayton, OH.
