We strongly believe that if the home has a chimney, you should have an inspection. Unless you have a chimney inspected with a camera there is no way of knowing what is going on inside of the system.
Virtually none of the system can be viewed during a routine home inspection. there may be safety issues due to cracks in the masonry structures or improper installation in the newer prefabricated systems.
The only way to get peace of mind is to have a professional chimney inspection and find out what is happening in that part of the chimney that no one else can see.
Our inspectors are equipped with top-of-the-line laptop computers, digital cameras and closed circuit television. This enables us to fully evaluate the system. The inspection is fully documented on a CD which contains both a written report and a digital video. This format allows for ease in accessing and duplicating the written report or digital video as needed. The report is delivered on-site and can be emailed as requested.

Certifications
We perform what is known as a "Level II Inspection" per the National Fire Protection Assoc. (NFPA) During the inspection the inspector will check all accesible portions of the chimney exterior, including areas within accessible attics, crawl spaces and basements. Additionally, a video camera is put inside of the chimney so that we can view the inner portion of the chimney.
We welcome our clints' presence during the inspection and encourage them to ask us any questions that they may have so that they feel fully informed on the condition of the system.
At Chimney Check Professionals we perform inspections only. We do not perform or sell repairs. This enables us to perform our inspections with no conflict of interest. Our purpose is to provide clients with honest and factual information and assist them in making educated decisions regarding any future chimney maintenance or repairs.
