I have a deep interest in environmental stewardship. This passion expresses itself in the fact that both my office and my home are solar powered -- the office by 5.2 kW of photovoltaic capacity, and the home by 9.2 kW of photovoltaic capacity plus a solar hot water system.  In addition, I have taken on the task of collecting polystyrene (aka Styrofoam) at our office and taking truckloads at a time to a polystyrene factory in Denver for recycling, thereby keeping this waste out of our landfills.  I look forward to participating fully in the ActiveRain community.
