Starting in 1999 as paralegal for John H. Bennett, Jr, I have researched over 2,300 titles through out Charleston, Berkeley & Dorchester. I have seen big development rise from vacant land and thought " Real Estate is a dynamic field." Now it is a challenge finding the right property for the client.
I hope to use my knowledge of the title to the land under the property to make the closing for a client as worry free as possible by attacking the problems before we reach the closing table. I have seen so many closings go sour because someone was unaware of the problems with the title. The Banks in this new era are looking for clean titles to enable them to later sell the notes and time is crucial to keeping a good rate. If we can limit the surprises at the closing table than all parties are happier.
