Janet English was raised in New Orleans, with the exceptions of a year each in San Francisco and Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Louisiana Tech University. Married to Dewey English, former managing editor of the Mobile Register and editor for AL.com, she has been a full-time Realtor since 1998. She lives in Spanish Fort and has one son, Jack.
