HomeSight was founded in 2001 by Tom Brinkoetter, a graduate in Real Estate from Arizona State University, Florida State Certified Appraiser and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. The service was developed for Brinkoetter and Associates in response to growing consumer demand for more information available for on-line listings. HomeSight has now expanded throughout Central Illinois and has dealers in Colorado and Georgia. HomeSight is continuing to expand its company owned coverage area into the St.Louis and Chicago markets.
We are based in Decatur, IL where we maintain our central processing/customer service center. Local field representatives visit each property to create an as-built floor plan and shoot wide angle photographs. The IFP's (Interactive Floor Plans) are built at the processing center and posted to the clients website and/or ancillary sites such as Realtor.com. IFP's can also be created from existing plans provided by the client or redrawn to scale from builder blue-prints. Photographs can be uploaded by the client from outside sources for use in the IFP.

Homesight provides itself in providing extremely detailed as-built floor plans to Realtors. Our floor plans are drawn to industry standards and include accurate square footage and room dimensions. We include interior walls, door swings, cabinet locations, plumbing fixtures, mecahnicals and windows. HomeSight's main business is providing floor plans on existing structures, however, we can also create floor plans from blue prints. Additionaly, HomeSight provides wide angle photography although our clients can upload their own photo's for use in the Interactive Floor Plan(IFP).
Our proprietary web based system allows our clients to place orders, manage current orders and track past orders. Floor plans and flyers may be downloaded as PDF files for use in print.
