Area Expertise:

I grew up in Gaston County, spent a lot of time with relatives in Charlotte, worked in Catawba County for 11 years and have lived in Lincoln County for 15 years.  My family has thoroughly enjoyed the last 9 years living on Lake Norman in Denver.  I know the 5 counties surrounding Denver very well and have first hand knowledge of Lake Norman.   

Professional Background/Designations/Education:

Having worked in the manufacturing industry for 30 years attests to my dependability, competence and stability.  My experience there in Customer Service and Inside Sales, Production Planning and International Business has provided me with a strong foundation for success in the Real Estate industry.  To be successful in those areas requires extreme attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills, and an ability to remain calm and rational in even the most trying situations.  I use those same skills on a daily basis as a Realtor. 

To improve my service to my clients, I have made it a goal to achieve certain professional designations.  I am an Accredited Buyer Representative, a designation obtained through additional training, strict testing and partcipatory requirements.  This designation attests that I have the knowledge and ability to better assist Buyers in their search for and purchase of a home.  I have also received the e-PRO designation.  Achieved through over 40 hours of online training and testing, this designation ensures my ability to use the technology available through the internet for effective marketing and communication. 

My education includes a B.A. in Management and Marketing from Sacred Heart College in Belmont, NC. 

Personal:

Married, with a daughter at Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!).  Love Lake Norman, riding motorcycles and spending time with family.  Members of Webbs Chapel UMC in Denver.
