Get to Know Helena Kaucheck

I am a full time licensed Arizona real estate professional.  My family and I moved to Chandler over 5 years ago.  We made our community our permanent home.  We absolutely love where we live and the friends that we've made since our move.

Since our move, I've been able to volunteer at many community based projects, am on the board of my son's PTO committee and have worked very hard to increase my business in the relatively short amount of time since our move. 

Over the last few years, the amount of short sales has just exploded.  Almost 60% of the market is a short sale.  It was very important to me that I am well educated to represent our distressed homeowners by not only selling a short sale but also negotiating these very complicated transactions with the many degrees of lenders in the market. I recently received my CDPE designation. CDPE stands for Certified Distressed Property Expert.  My goal is to get the best outcome possible for distressed homeowners and to push to make sure there is a human side to each person's hardship.  

Additionally, helping a buyer navigate through a short sale, REO, resale and new build is extremely important and I take great pride in protecting my client's interests in the entire process.

My biggest joy and pride is my family.  My second biggest source of joy and pride are the satisfied clients that I've helped through the last few years buy and sell their homes.  For a Type A person like me, success is a huge motivator and I am the one doing the dance of joy when a house sells or I finally find the perfect home for a client.  It's such an amazing feeling of accomplishment.

Certifications

Today's economy requires agents with a broad knowledge base.  It's no longer ENOUGH to put a sign up on the front lawn, a lockbox on the door and fliers in the box.  It takes market knowledge, contract expertise and outstanding customer service.  These three ingredients remain the foundation of any great agent.

Before becoming a full time Real Estate professional, I worked in corporate America for 20 years.  My job was to analyze the financial condition of major and mid size companies in order to provide a sustainable line of credit.  Reading the companies financials allowed me to see how they were able to pay for their current bills and allowed me to also predict their future repayment potential.   The economy and how people wanted my client's goods and services helped me to grant a line of credit that would let them grow the business but kept my firm's losses to a safe point.  In other words, issue credit with care and due diligence.

This experience has helped me walk my clients through all their needs and wants.  It has helped me to provide my clients with the best representation, to protect their interests first and foremost.  My clients need and deserve an honest transaction and to support them in every way.   Buyers and sellers need an agent who has experience in the market and a firm handle on how to get deals completed while protecting their interests along the way.

My experience in contract management, marketing, customer service, and most importantly negotiations is the key essentials for my successes.  Most of my new business is a result of referrals from past satisfied customers.  I've been very fortunate to have had very little down time in 2008 and hope to carry that through to 2009.  I think when you combine great service with firm committment to integrity, honesty and due diligence the rewards are multiplied.
