Franklee Irrigation  was founded in 1987 by Roger Spoor after recognizing a need for customer centered service in the local irrigation market. Roger is a former member of the U.S. Navy as well as a former service manager for a national lawn care company. 
     Clients were glad to have a contractor who put their needs ahead of the bottom line, and Franklee Irrigation continued to grow and lead the way in outstanding system design and service. With the addition of Ed Montague in 1994,  Ron Terpening in 2002, and dedicated seasonal help, Franklee has continued to make great strides and is now one of the most highly regarded irrigation companies in the Hampton Roads area.       In 1998, Franklee was honored to become a Rain Bird Select Contractor.
