For over 20 years I've been successfully investing in real estate, residential and commercial properties.  I renovated single family homes, small multi-family apartments, commercial office buildings, and condos. Upon moving to Asheville, North Carolina I decided it was time to become knowledgeable about developing 'eco-friendly, sustainable, and energy-efficient' housing. Beautiful too. Just the kind I would like to live in. The mountains of Western North Carolina are home to the Green Builders Council and the state promotes the Healthy Built House program as well as providing tax incentives for energy-efficient homes. I am taking classes to become certified as an Eco Broker and pursuing a degree in Construction Management Technology. It makes sense to understand how to develop the site and build a sustainable house as well as matching buyers with their own eco-friendly home.
