Hello there.  My name is Joseph Cliff Ayscue.  I have been in the inspection field for over 13 years.  I started in the inspection field as a quality control manager for a mobile home building plant.  From there I have inspected with a couple of surrounding county inspection departments in N.C.  I am fully certified in all aspects of the inspection field and am one of only a select few inspectors that carry Level III certifications with the NC Licensure Board and with the NC Department of Insurance.  I am fully qualified and have the experiece to perform inspections for any city inspection department and all home inspections.  I currently am a Senior Inspector for the Town of Chapel Hill. 

I love my job and do it well!  Just ask any contractor that builds or remodels in the Chapel Hill area.  I am very thorough and they hate me for it.  I will not let anything slide by for any reason.  Being well known in the inspection department as a hard ball, well that's me... but I love what I do and do it well. 

Being so thorough certainly does not go over well with the seller and myself.  But  for the same reason the seller did not like me criticing their home, they will love me as their hired home inspector.  What goes around, comes around and so do home inspections.  You will need one for your new home just as someone needed an inspection for their new home purchase from you.
