I was born in Wyoming,. My husband and I settled in Deep East Texas in 1989 after Guy retired from the US Army. We have three children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren I love games, riding horses, playing with my kids and cats, bowling, shooting, cooking, (not cleaning), and writing poetry. I am a Member of the Texas and the National Association of Realtors®. I am a Texas Licensed Real Estate Broker, with seventeen+ years experience in the field. I have completed a course in the e-Pro technology Certification Program offered by the National Association of REALTORSs®. I have completed the Real Estate Buyers Agent (ABR) and often represent Buyers. I am Past Secretary and Past Vice-President of the Jasper Area Board of REALTORS® for the Texas Association of REALTORS®.. My prior lives have been Nursing, Business Administration and Accounting,. I am a Texas Notary Public, I belong to the BBB. I am a member of the Chambers of Commerce in both Sabine County and Sabine Parish. I enjoy Real Estate and showing property. I generally serve in the Residential Real Estate market. I am priveledged to be able to show and sell properties in and around two of our largest lakes - Toledo Bend Lake and Reservoir and Lake Sam Rayburn. Both these lakes are in rural areas and are great fishing lakes. Both lakes are on the Fishing Tournament trail each year, and a great many of our citizens are retirees.
In Texas we have specific rules about who we represent and must let potential customers and clients decide how they want to be represented before we start the property search. As an older broker I don't do a lot of listings anymore. I am able to find properties for buyers from other real estate agencies through their inventories. I have my ABR(R) and enjoy finding just the right property for my clients.
I also have my ePRO(R) and do a great deal of business from the Internet.
