Get to Know Eric Lindsey

I was born and raised in Boston MA where I attended John D. O' Bryant H.S. and later graduated from Tufts University. After college I worked as a Branch Manager at Bank of America for 3.5 years. This experience gave me a thorough understanding of the Mortgage qualification and lending process.  My banking background was a great asset to me as a Real Estate Sales Person allowing me obtain the trust and confidence in my clients to efficientlyassist them with purchasing or selling of their property.

Currently, I am licensed Real Estate Broker, working as a partner for both Bentley Real Estate Group and Rigid Capital Investors. Bentley R.E. Group is an up and coming Real Estate office in Dorchester now with14 agents. Rigid Capital Investors was founded with the sole intent of acquiring, rehabbing and developing real estate. We are currently working on our 5Th rehab project.

To ensure the continued growth and sucess of both Bentley Real Estate Group and Rigid Capital Investors I am currently pursuing a Unrestricted Construction Supervisor's License ans state certified training in Lead & Asbestos Abatement and eventually Green Building practices. I feel furthering my knowledge in these fields will allow me to provided unique 1st hand knowledge to my clients that very few brokers are able to. 

 

Certifications

My primary focus is the Greater Boston Area. I have assisted buyer's in seller in the area for the last 5 years. I am currently a preferred Real Estate Broker with the Codman Square CNDC selected to work 1on1 with 1st time home buyers who have graduated from the City of Boston Homeowners program. Just this month I just US HUD,  where I am the exclusive Real Estate broker for Suffolk County. US HUD allows buyers to search a site specifically for Bank Owned and Foreclosed properties. In addition to my experience as a Real Estate Broker working with buyers and sellers, my office has sucessfully negotiated nearly 20 short sales over the last 2 years. As market conditions changed and home values significantly decreased over the last few years a Short Sale has been the only solution many Seller's have found to avoid foreclosure. I learned the negotiation process directly from an attorney with several years of experience directly negotiating with lenders. My partner and I have have tried and proved Short Sale process that we use at Bentley Real Estate Group.
