Get to Know Roger & Andrew Edwards

Roger Edwards         I am a native of south Florida, born in Coral Gables, Florida. My mother was from a small town in North Carolina and my father from Wisconsin. They both moved to south Florida after WW2 and as my mother became a Real Estate Agent; my father earned his living as a Real Estate Lawyer. 

I met my wife to be by chance in 1979 in the rocky mountains of Colorado. I was backpacking across the United States and she was taking photos of Forest fires on vacation from Ohio. We married less than a year later in 1980 and now have two children, Andrew and Laura. Andrew has graduated with a bachelor's degree from University of Central Florida (05'), and is a partner on my real estate team; Laura is full time student at Rollins College, in Winter Park, Florida.  

After many years of growing up listening to my parent's conversations, it was a natural progression to become a real estate sales professional. After completing my bachelors in Business Administration and working for the Marriott Corporation for many years in the early 1990's, I eventually became a full time Real Estate sales consultant after a successful venture with Real Estate investing. 

With additional and ongoing education, I have made it possible to achieve two Real Estate designations of CRS (Certified Residential Specialists), and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute). My office is strategically located in the center of Broward County where I have helping families and have been located for 11+ Years. 

My clients choose me because I am dedicated to serving their requests. My work is well timed. My advice is nothing but good intentions. My assistance is un-intimidating. My service is inclusive. My drive is to be a helpful and understanding consultant. 

Living in south Florida for my whole life, I have come to love and fully appreciate the beautiful waters and weather of Ft. Lauderdale. Bringing family and friends out to dinner is a pleasure I always indulge in. But what better way to escort my company to dinner than on my very own boat. I enjoy taking them throughout the heart of Ft. Lauderdale on the new river and through the intracoastal waterways. And of course gazing over all the beautiful landscape as we travel through what is known as the "Venice of America."

 

Andrew Edwards    

 I grew up in Plantation. As a child I played sports and was heavily involved with Boy Scouts. (Eagle Scout) Growing up I listened to my parents talk about real estate all the time. Naturally after graduating from University of Central Florida I immediately started my career at RE/MAX with my father Roger.  

 I've been very busy ever since. The reason why I believe my clients stick with me is my easy going personality. I don't hide anything. I always give ALL the facts, the GOOD and BAD. I am not a "Yes Man."  While in College, I met my beautiful wife Daniela. Today we live in Weston. We have a baby boy named Braeden.  My wife works at Cleveland Clinic in Weston as a RN.
