Edith is a 40 yrs. resident of the North Shore and knows the city of Chicago & the North Shore very well. Born, raised and educated in Europe with a degree in Business Management/Communications & Languages. Edith traveled extensively throughout Europe & the world. She worked for 10 yrs as a Translator/Interpreter and Liaison Officer for European Joint Venture Construction Companies and their overseas government Civil Engineering Dept. in North and West Africa and also in Saudi Arabia.
She came to the US in 1973 when her then visiting future Mother-in-law fell ill after two brain hemorrhages. After brain surgery the family was told that she will not have more than 6 months to live. The decision was made to get an apartment, set up a room and take care of her! Which Edith and her new husband did sharing the 24h nursing care without outside nursing assistance. 6 months turned into 20 years, slowly her mother-in-law improved, coming out of a coma, but staying paralyzed on her left side! During that time Edith had her two children, established language classes and taught them out of her home to students K through 8th grade, she tutored High School students and later on had her own fashion business for several years. After her Mother-in-law’s death, Edith took her real estate license and became an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Realtor! If only the BEST will do – Work with Edith…

| A. M. It is will great pleasure that I prepare this letter of thanks for Edith Jasser. Recently my wife and I relocated from Northern Virginia to the Chicago Area. This job-related move represented the third such move in ten years. However, thanks to Edith we learned a great deal about suburban Chicago, narrowed our search to an appropriate community and found a house that has quickly become our home. Edith is the ultimate professional and worth her weight in gold both to the families she serves and to her company. Edith is patient, kind, professional, organized, efficient, gracious, encouraging, straight-forward, clear, and – dare I say – a blessing. She is consistently on top of even the smallest detail, prods with a gentle word when necessary and always has a helpful response when questions arise. My wife and I smile each time our caller ID signaled Edith was on the line because we knew we would be one step closer to completing our move once she provided whatever option, plan, idea, or solution she was calling to offer. In particular, Edith listened to our needs regarding our new home and what-is-more, she was able to discern our hopes and show us houses that met our expectations. Before ending this not of thanks there is one more area that must be addressed. A consummate professional will cover all the bases in working with a client. An expert will bring skills and experience to the table to accomplish the task. A committed agent will, in fact, do her job well. Edith meets all these definitions. However, she covers her bases, accomplishes her tasks and does her job well with the most caring and loving attention to detail. My wife and I have worked with many real estate agents but never before have we worked with one who has given of herself so fully, so willingly and so graciously. It was a pleasure to work with Edith and we give her our highest recommendation and our sincerest thanks. We end each day in a home filled with light and love and we do so because Edith understood our needs and helped us find the best place for them to be lived out. This choice proved to be better than I anticipated. Edith gave me valuable advice on the amount of money to spend on improvements and which improvements needed to be made to my parents’ home (estate sale). She spent an enormous amount of time and energy in the sales process and delivered great results in less than a month.
