Des first came to Jackson on a family vacation in 1996 and returned nearly every year before becoming a full time Valley resident in 2008. Coming from a long family history of real estate professionals, Des recognized the business as a natural fit for his personality, work ethic and attention to detail. While earning his degree from Middlebury College in Vermont, Des returned to Wyoming to work at Teton Valley Ranch Camp in Dubois, WY for five summers. Since moving to Jackson, he has worked as a wrangler for a local hunting outfitter and as a ski instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In addition to his breadth of knowledge of the local real estate market, Des has also achieved fluency in Spanish through studies at the university level and time spent living in Ecuador and Mexico and is comfortable using the language in a business setting. As an outdoor enthusiast Des spends his free time fly fishing, snowboarding, skiing and hiking in the area around Jackson.
