My passion for construction started very early in life. I can remember the excitment I had helping my father who was a Carpenter by trade, around the house and on small jobs for friends and family. Yep, no doubt this is what I wanted to do. As I reached my late teenage years and early 20's I took advantage of the opporunity to work for different trade contractors. This allowed me to gain alot of the knowledge and experience that would prove to be beneficial in my coming years.
In 1999 I took a position with a large privately held national home builder as an Assistant Superintendant. With dedication and hard work that position quickly turned into a promotion as the Site Superintendant. For the next five years I would personally manage the construction of nearly 175 homes at multiple locations with price points ranging from $200k - $750K. Throughout the years as a Superintendent I was recognized for excellence with numerous awards such as; "Builder of the Month", "Builder of the Quarter", "Builder of the Year", "Team Player of the Year" and "Builder/Market Manager Team of the Year".
From 2004 - 2007 I was again promoted and held two new positions and at times concurrently. The positions included Divisional Construction Manager and Regional Resource Manager. As the Divisional Construction Manager some of my responsibilities included the hiring and training of all division construction personell, defining and enforcing divisonal construction practices, heading of the warranty department, ensuring customer satisfaction and working on land development projects. As Regional Resource Manager I would be tasked to create, implement and enforce company processes and policies in five states as it related to improving build time, customer relations, subcontractor relations, scheduling, selection processes and quality assurance.
In 2007, I decided to take everything I learned and taught to others over the years and start Royalty Homes, Inc. Making this one time dream now a reality, I have the ability to express craftmanship through building Royalty custom homes.
