Derrian Smith born in Toronto, comes from a long line of artists and designers on both sides of parentage. Three generations of her family's works have hung in galleries and in homes across North America and in Europe. She has taken fine arts courses at the Nova Scotia College of Art, holds a BA in Humanities, and a Diploma of Human Service Counselling. She holds memberships in the Canadian Women in Communications and the Saint John Board of Trade. Derrian is committed to continuous learning, with a focus on eco-friendly products and sustainable living principles. She has had a lifelong passion for the artful use of space that enriches human experience. Her spatial creativity and use of colour is always unique and contemporary yet is reflective of the personality and taste of her clients. These skills have now been honed to develop the mature personality of the property for sale. Her inclusive nature disposes her to collaborations with other professionals, builders, and suppliers. Because of the scope and intensity of the work involved, it is recommended that consultations be scheduled during weekday business hours. The session lasts from 2-3 hours. Much of the work can be accomplished at this time and a comprehensive plan is generated to outline the completion of the entire staging project. This will include minor constructions and repairs. To minimize expense, existing furnishings and decorative items are used as much as possible in production. In the event that additional items are required, solutions are discussed and sources recommended.
