I know a lot about houses, I used to design and build them. I'm analytical, - more interested in what's under the hood and the floor plan than I am the colors. That experience is useful at inspections, or with a Buyer who wants to re-model – interfacing with an architect and construction people – looking out for my Client. Consequently, I’m comfortable with the old homes in Mission Hills, or the fancy updating of a La Jolla beachfront condo, or the brand new home in Carmel Valley. This background also comes in handy working with a Seller, getting their home up to speed to stage them.
I work with out-of-town, sophisticated, Buyers looking all over San Diego, but mainly in upscale areas, i.e. , La Jolla and Del Mar, the beaches, downtown condos, Mission Hills, Hillcrest, Point Loma, or Carmel Valley. These discriminating Buyers have confidence in me, I’m their age and I’ve been doing this a long time. They instinctively trust me. Our association makes them confident in their decisions, they feel like they’re in good hands, we enjoy each others company, they expect and get prompt, candid answers, but, mostly I’m there, always there. Many agents are off the grid a lot, off traveling, doing things with their kids, or distracted by all manor of other responsibilities, and so are the agents they’ve asked to cover for them. NOT ME. I’m never off the grid, I’m here minding the store, all the time.
