"Buying a home in Kingwood Texas or Humble Texas is one of life's biggest investments. It's an honor to be there for people, especially first time buyers. I've always liked the service part of business, but not just the sales - I also like the details. I want to be sure everything is right and working together. I'm a detail person. I like getting to know people and I'm very determined. I let nothing stop me when I go to find the home they're looking for."

Internet Marketing

According to a recent survey by the National Association of Realtors the majority of home searches now begin on the internet.  It makes sense because of the internet's accessibility - both timewise and information wise.  You can look up the value of your home, check out the competition and surf the agents & brokers doing business in your area.

That is why I am dedicated to keeping up with technology.  Social networking is another big category for consumers and professionals alike. Facebook, and Activerain just to name a few.  These are interactive sites that allow you to catch up with friends, keep a tweet of your day's activities or thoughts going, post videos of all kinds and blog.

Blog  Wonderful stuff blogging is.  You can learn all kinds of things from blogs online.  My blog starts with real estate information like market reports, listings & trends.  We add in local business stories, to let you know about new restaurants or shopping or just what is happening in our neck of the woods.  We finish up with photos & humor.  Everyone enjoys a good laugh - and we try to provide that for our readers.

If you have something you'd like me to blog about - just email me!

Do You Need to List Your Home?

Interviewing your selling agent is just like interviewing any other job candidate. Your agent needs to know the market and be able to present your house to other agents and buyers in a professional and confident manner. While you may be tempted to select an agent solely on the commission rate, be sure to ask questions about how your home will be marketed, the reputation of the agency the agent represents and determine if the agent displays the sort of drive and enthusiasm needed to set your home apart in a busy marketplace.

To sell a home in today's market, you need an arsenal of marketing efforts:

Listing on the Houston Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service. On-site advertising like: open houses, flyer boxes, and brokers' tours. Keller Williams provides access to the best search tools available. On-line listings on multiple websites including  http://www.har.com/;  http://www.realtor.com/;
