Carmelle Shea started her real estate career in 2000 after nine years of teaching in the Alexandria City and Fairfax County public school systems. As co-founder of the #1 Redwood Real Estate Team in 2009 & 2010, Carmelle's success is highly attributed to her philosophy as an educator. Guiding clients through the often complex process of a real estate transaction,  while providing with them the necessary data and information to make well educated decisions to achieve their goals is what Carmelle's clients have come to expect and appreciate. When not working, Carmelle enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children exploring all that Northern Virginia has to offer. Visiting local festivals, farms and wineries across Loudoun County and attending cultural events in Washington, DC are top on her list.  She also enjoys skiing, horseback riding, and simply relaxing in her back yard with family and friends. To fulfill her love of teaching children, Carmelle is a leader with the Girl Scouts of America, a wonderful organization that empowers children by teaching them ways to make a difference in the world by being a good citizen and helping others in need.
